our story

HAND MADE & LOCALLY SOURCED

Every piece at Fìga Galleria is handcrafted in Los Angeles using high-quality materials sourced exclusively from local LA suppliers.

Freshwater pearls, crystals, charms, and chains are all carefully selected from trusted vendors across the city to ensure quality, durability, and sustainability. At Fìga we are dedicated to using real and natural materials only.

Production is intentional — each design is assembled by hand, with attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.

There’s no mass production, no outsourcing — just small-batch, locally made pieces that prioritize both form and function.

By sourcing everything within LA, Fìga supports local businesses, reduces environmental impact, and stays closely connected to the community that inspires its designs.

The result is jewelry that feels elevated yet grounded — timeless, wearable, and made to last.

CELEBRATING QUEER CREATIVITY

Creativity lives at the heart of Fìga; bold, fluid, and unapologetically original.

Our designs embrace contrast: minimal yet daring, elegant yet edgy, blending masculine and feminine energy into something entirely new.

Fìga was born from a desire to expand what jewelry can be. Founder, Michaela Rose Reggio (they/them) saw a lack of representation for androgynous expression and set out to create pieces where queer and nonbinary individuals feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful.

We reject limitations.
We celebrate fluidity.
We honor individuality.

Whether you're queer or an ally, Fìga invites you to express yourself with jewelry that’s handmade, original, and rooted in freedom.

WHAT DOES FÌGA MEAN?

Fìga {f} /Fɪɡa/
Italian to English Translation:
{slang}
c***

Fìga is a powerful reclamation of the word “c***”—once used to oppress, now transformed into a symbol of strength, autonomy, and creative expression.

For Reggio, the artist behind Fìga Galleria; embracing fìga is an act of empowerment.

The word has evolved into a bold statement of confidence, breaking free from its past and becoming an expression of unapologetic self-celebration.

Through jewelry-making, Reggio explores identity and artistry with intention.

By embracing fìga, they and others are reshaping language—turning it into a mark of resilience, creative freedom, and a celebration of identity in all its forms.
